Annerys Victoria Vargas Valdez (born August 7, 1981 in Santo Domingo)
is a female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who won four
consecutive gold medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games.
In 2003 She won gold medal with the women's national team at the 2003
Pan American Games in her home town Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
In 2004 She competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics for her native country which
finished in 11th place. In 2007 Playing with the Spanish team Grupo Murcia, win
the Supercup, Queen Cup and Spanish Superliga. In 2008 She participated at the
2008 Women's World Olympic Qualification Tournament, and her team finished in 4th place.
After winning with her team the gold medal at the 2009 NORCECA Championship qualifying
for the very first time to the 2009 World Grand Champions Cup where her team won the bronze medal.
And in 2010 She finished the 2009/2010 season of the Brazilian Superliga as the 4th best blocker.
























Gilberto Alejandro de Godoy Filho, better known as Giba (born on December 23, 1976, in Londrina, Brazil), is a former Brazilian volleyball player, occupying the position of the libero (a player dedicated to defensive work). Considered by the general public as one of the greatest players of all time in this sport. He won 12 cups of the best in the world.
He began in the world of Volley in the Military Circle of Paranáde his hometown, then begins the passage through different Brazilian clubs, standing out in each of them and taking prizes in each of them both collective and individual. His greatest achievements are obtained as a member of the National Team of which he was captain for several years.
